QA Automation Engineer We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team at MMA. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a QA Automation Engineer at MMA, you will be creating and executing automated test plans, managing automation activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. You will be fostering a culture of quality and innovation, while preparing detailed reports on automation progress, quality metrics, and potential risks to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into the automation testing process.

We will count on you to

• Demonstrate experience in automation testing methodologies, developing and implementing strategies that ensure high-quality software delivery throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Execute against a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and product roadmap, prioritizing quality from the outset.
• Oversee the creation and execution of detailed automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of applications across various platforms, identifying any gaps in coverage.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring alignment on quality expectations.
• Execute and maintain processes for defect tracking, management, and resolution, ensuring that issues are identified, documented, and addressed promptly to minimize impact on project timelines.
• Document QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency across the team and facilitate knowledge sharing, enabling team members to learn from each other.
• Analyze automation testing processes and methodologies, gather feedback from retrospectives, and implement improvements to enhance team productivity and overall product quality.

What you need to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related degree, or relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience as QA automation engineer
• Familiarity with web/application servers like Apache Tomcat 8.x.
• Experience using programming languages such as TypeScript or Python.
• Experience with database management tools such as Microsoft SQL, SQL Management Studio or Mongo DB
• Expertise in testing and automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, BlazeMeter or LoadRunner, etc.
• Advanced Level of English is a Must
