Your Role

As a Senior Automation Engineer, You Will

Drive the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests across various products to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Manage the bug lifecycle by filing detailed reports and collaborating with development and product teams to prioritize and resolve issues. Lead the creation and enhancement of automated test frameworks to improve organizational efficiency and reliability. Develop robust internal testing tools to increase the productivity and technical capabilities of the QA team. Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) to integrate quality assurance into the deployment pipeline for stable software releases. Partner with development engineers to champion unit testing efforts and provide guidance on test script development. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on best practices in test architecture and quality engineering.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

Demonstrated success and hands-on experience in delivering complex test automation solutions. Strong proficiency in Python for writing tests using common testing frameworks. Experience testing Web Applications with automated tools such as Selenium or Puppeteer. Proven experience with executing and building performance/load tests. Understanding of databases and the ability to form SQL queries for data validation. Experience with source code control systems such as GIT or Subversion. Ability to communicate clearly regarding status, bug reports, and test plans.

Preferred skills/expertise

Experience with integrating and testing REST / GraphQL APIs and using Postman. Significant experience with White Box testing methodologies. Familiarity with Linux-based systems (SSH, command line usage, shell scripting). Experience with Cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCE, EC2, S3, etc.). Familiarity with Visual Regression Testing and backend service testing. Knowledge of Windows/macOS Security (SSH keyfiles, SSL Certificates) and Data networking (TCP/IP). Experience or familiarity with the usage of AI/LLMs in quality assurance or testing.
