Own end-to-end quality for assigned features: test planning, case design, automation, execution, and reporting. Build/extend maintainable automation frameworks for Selenium/WebDriver (UI) and API tests (e.g., REST Assured or Python/pytest + requests). Create smoke, regression, and sanity suites; reduce flakiness and improve coverage & runtime. Integrate suites with CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI) and publish clear reports (Allure/Extent). Partner with Product & Engineering to define testable acceptance criteria and adopt shift-left practices. Perform exploratory and risk-based manual testing for new/complex features and support UAT when needed. Prepare and manage test data, validate states via SQL/DB queries, and debug with logs/DevTools. Log/track defects with precise repro steps, severity/impact; drive fixes to closure. Monitor and communicate QA metrics (pass rate, defect leakage, flake rate, coverage) and propose improvements. Contribute to code reviews for test code, standards, and best practices; mentor juniors when applicable.
