Position Overview At ServiceChannel, Senior QA Engineers play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Prospective candidates must have extensive experience in software testing, particularly within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, and be proficient with .Net and cloud technologies. A deep understanding of software development and secure testing lifecycles is essential, along with expertise in web application workflows, components, databases, and security principles. The ideal candidate will work on enterprise software, data, and other projects, supporting ServiceChannel’s winning product strategy and roadmap through meticulous testing and quality assurance practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of software products. Lead the testing efforts for complex software projects, ensuring thorough test coverage and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software. Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve issues efficiently. Implement and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical expertise and promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the QA processes and tools to enhance overall product quality. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and manual testing. Proficiency in writing test scripts using automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies. Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into the build process. Solid understanding of API testing, including tools like Postman or SoapUI.
