We are seeking a Systems Test Engineer with proven leadership abilities and experience with Life Cycle Testing, Data Acquisition and Analysis, Instrumentation and familiarity with identifying test facility requirements. Responsibilities will include leadership with planning and execution of Test Programs, interfacing with internal and external customers and results analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will be experienced with environmental, EMI/EMC and energetic testing to enable execution of consistent and robust test engineering programs. Creates and manages large scale system and subsystem Test Program Plans. Working closely with design IPTs to develop methodologies to test system and subsystem hardware Provide shock and vibration Signal Analysis Support. Expertise with data acquisition, filtering, power spectral density, Shock Response Spectrum Expertise with Vibration Control methods Support the planning of the verification and validation program. Performs and manages cost estimates and project planning for a significant portion of larger project Perform CAM duties: manage cost, schedule, technical performance and monthly EVMS reporting. Experience Required Requires BS in Engineering, & 15 years’ experience or Master’s Degree & 10 years’ experience or PhD & 8 years’ experience. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Familiarity with various military standards (e.g MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-331, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-2105, JOTP-052 and JOTP-053). Understanding of energetic components, materials, and test methods. Experience with climatic, vibration, mechanical shock, Electromagnetic Effects (EME), and Insensitive Munitions (IM) Testing. Familiarity with available signal analysis tools such as MATLAB, and MS EXCEL Primary Level Salary Range: $153,600.00 - $230,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
