Position: System Test Engineer

Summary You as a System Test Engineer are responsible for manual testing of High Speed Banknote Processing Systems. The role involves all aspects of system test planning, preparation, execution, and reporting on testing activities for assigned projects. You will work in a cross-site scrum team with colleagues located in India and Germany. Key Responsibilities ·         Analyze stakeholder and system requirements ·         Design, create and maintain test artifacts (Test Plans, Test Cases, Coverage Matrix) ·         Raise synergies with lower level test stages along the test pyramid ·         Execute system and acceptance tests ·         Provide demos of completed functionality to stakeholders ·         Work with development teams on system integration test planning and execution ·         Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure full test coverage ·         Follow defined organizational processes and quality standards ·         Participate in Product Development Life Cycle improvements ·         Document and report test results and defects Required Skills ·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field ·         5+ years of System testing experience for aggregates with complex system functions ·         Experience with test management tools (ALM , TFS/Azure or similar, Quality Center) ·         Experience of test case detailing , reviews and defect management ·         Experience in functional testing techniques (integration, system, regression) ·         Understanding of Agile Development Life Cycle methodologies ·         Test Engineer Certification (CSTE, ISTQB) is a plus ·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, reliable and self-organized ·         Excellent communication skills in multicultural environments Good to Have ·         Knowledge of SQL, databases, Java, .NET applications, and web technologies ·         Knowledge of version control systems
