Job Description: As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate framework and Selenium. Perform manual testing as needed to complement automated testing efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Execute regression, functional, and performance testing. Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3-8 years of experience in QA automation and manual testing. Proficiency in Java and experience with the Karate framework. Strong knowledge of Selenium for web application testing. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
