Full Description

As an IT QA Intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

1. Test Planning and Execution: Assist in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for social applications built with Flutter. This includes functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.

2. Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using a bug tracking system. Provide clear and concise bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.

3. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand application requirements, features, and technical specifications. Participate in discussions to improve product quality and user experience.

4. Social App Specific Testing: Pay close attention to features common in social applications, such as user authentication, profile management, real-time interactions, notifications, and privacy settings.

5. Performance and Usability Testing: Conduct basic performance tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure smooth application operation. Evaluate the application's usability and provide feedback on user experience improvements.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test results, and bug reports.

7. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app testing.

Qualifications

1. Students from a recognized polytechnic or university

2. Major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

3. Strong interest in software quality assurance and testing

4. Excellent analytical and problems solving skills, cross-functional coordinator with global teams

5. Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies and testing techniques.

6. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
