We are currently seeking a Validation Engineer to join our diverse and dynamic team. In this role at ICON, you will be responsible for executing validation activities for equipment, systems, and processes in clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance. Your technical expertise and analytical skills will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our validation processes.
What You Will Be Doing
Developing, executing, and managing validation protocols for equipment and systems used in clinical trials. Conducting risk assessments and impact analyses to define validation requirements and strategies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify validation needs and support the implementation of effective solutions. Documenting validation activities and ensuring accurate record-keeping in compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards. Staying informed about industry best practices and regulatory updates related to validation and quality engineering.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA) are a plus. 3+ years of experience in validation engineering, quality assurance, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or clinical research sectors. Strong knowledge of validation principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
