Role Summary We are looking for a highly skilled 5G / LTE Core Test Engineer with strong expertise in end-to-end (E2E) validation of 5G SA, NSA, and LTE networks. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of call flows, IMS architecture, VoIP protocols, and packet core technologies, along with hands-on experience in automation and real UE testing.
Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end testing of 5G SA, NSA, and LTE call flows across Device, RAN, and Core Network. Validate services including Voice, Messaging, UCE, UT, USSI, HTTP, VoLTE, VoWiFi, IR92, IR94, AS262 HO, WPS, RTT, N11, International Wi-Fi, and S8HR. Test and troubleshoot IMS services including Audio/Video calling, RCS, Presence, and Instant Messaging. Validate VoNR, VoLTE, and LTE EPC call scenarios. Analyze and troubleshoot core protocols such as GTPv2-C, GTPv1-C, GTPv1-U, and S1AP. Work with VoIP protocols including SIP, Megaco/H.248, MGCP, DNS, LNP, TCAP, SDP, RTP, and DIAMETER. Perform packet core validation involving NAT, Proxy functions, routing, and firewall impacts. Develop and execute automated test cases using simulation tools and Real UE automation frameworks. Document defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide clear technical reports.
Required Qualifications Strong expertise in 5G SA/NSA and LTE E2E testing. Hands-on experience in IMS and VoIP protocol validation. Deep understanding of LTE EPC and 5G Core network architecture. Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills in telecom environments. Experience with test automation and network simulation tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working with telecom operators or network vendors. Familiarity with 3GPP standards. Experience in lab and production validation environments.
