Claire Joster is recruiting a QA Release Engineer (m/f) for a client that operates in the energy sector.
The company is currently hiring people for the Embedded Systems QA Team, to support the design and development of state-of-the-art embedded systems.
Conduct various types of testing: Manual and/or Automated, functional, integration, performance, regression, and acceptance; Ensure compliance with relevant technical, regulatory, and safety standards; Analyze test data and generate detailed performance and reliability reports (automatic report generation preferred); Collaborate with design, development, and production teams to resolve quality issues and identify potential failures; Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks; Independently design and implement tests for isolated functions, features, and full product releases; Maintain test documentation, including technical specifications and test protocols; Proactively identify areas of improvement and propose solutions to enhance product quality.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related area; Proficient in electrical/electronic hardware, debugging, and troubleshooting; Knowledge in Python, C/C++ or Java; Experience with version control systems (particularly Git); Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for embedded systems; Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data; Good communication and interpersonal skills; Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Knowledge on electronic circuits, electricity, electronics and Power grid; Familiarity with SCRUM product development methodology; Test Design Processes; Knowledge of industrial protocols such as DNP3, IEC60870-5-104, IEC61850; Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Robot Framework.
