This is an excellent opportunity for a AI AUTOMATION ENGINEER to design, develop, and operationalise intelligent productivity solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, for a leading Global WEALTH & INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT FIRM.
Based in LONDON this AI AUTOMATION ENGINEER role offers a salary of £70,000 - £80,000
You will focus on Copilot, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Azure AI capabilities, and custom automation frameworks - enabling end users to work smarter and faster. Along with this, you will blend technical engineering skills (C#, integration work, workflow design) with an understanding of how users adopt and engage with new AI technology. This includes building solutions, training users, and driving adoption across the organisation.

THE ROLE
- Build AI-powered workflows using Power Automate, Copilot Workflows, and Copilot Studio.
- Develop custom connectors, plugins, and integrations using C#, APIs, and Azure services.
- Implement solutions using the Azure AI ecosystem (OpenAI models, Azure AI Search, orchestration, prompt flows).
- Design, test, and optimise prompt engineering patterns for internal and external AI solutions.
- Create reusable AI components, templates, and “accelerators” for business teams.
- Configure, customise, and extend Microsoft Copilot across M365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Platform).
- Build copilots, agents, and automations that interact with enterprise data sources.
- Work with security and compliance teams to ensure safe and appropriate deployment.
- Run workshops, training sessions, and drop‑in clinics for end users.
- Measure adoption, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions.
- Create simple guides, playbooks, and best‑practice documentation supporting AI literacy.
- Serve as an internal consultant for business teams seeking automation opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into practical AI/automation solutions.
- Ensure designs follow architectural best practices (security, scalability, observability).
- Work collaboratively with engineering, cyber security, and data teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS
