Davidson is seeking a mid-level Test and Evaluation Systems Engineer to support the integration, test, and operational deployment of ML-enabled C2 software for VLF transmission sites. This role focuses on transitioning software from development environments into operational Navy equipment, supporting system integration, formal and informal test events, and ensuring compliance with safety, operational, and readiness requirements. You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, RF engineers, and operators to validate that system changes perform as intended and are safe for operational use. This position is well-suited for an engineer with experience in Navy processes, system integration, and fielded communications or mission systems.
Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field 5+ years of experience in systems integration, test, and evaluation roles Familiarity with Navy/DoW test and evaluation processes Experience working with operational communications or mission systems Ability to work effectively in field and lab environments Must be a U. S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to AI/ML-enabled systems in operational environments Experience supporting communications systems, RF systems, or command and control systems
Clearance
Currently holds an Active Secret Clearance or is able to obtain a Secret Clearance
