Role & seniority: Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager, Leadership role within Supplier Quality Engineering (entry to mid-senior management).
Stack/tools: SAP (Procure-to-Pay), QMS processes, First Article Inspection (FAI), source inspections, Special Process surveys; AS9100/AS9102/AS9145 knowledge; Quality methodologies (Lean Six Sigma/ASQ); data analytics and program execution tools.
Oversight of Supplier Quality Engineer(s)/Analyst(s) and coordination of daily tasks (source inspection, FAI, surveillance, MRB, CAPA, product line validations).
Ensure contract flow-down requirements, develop/revise policies and procedures, and provide technical liaison on quality matters.
Drive continuous improvement, optimize program execution, manage risk, and develop talent within the QMS.
Advanced Quality Engineering/Analyst experience; strong QMS knowledge; experience with PO reviews, source inspections, FAI, surveillance, and MRB/CAPA processes.
Ability to travel, and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance (secret).
Effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills; strong organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
STEM bachelor’s degree; ASQ/Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt); advanced AS9100/AS9102/AS9145 expertise.

Job Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Associate Manager for a position based in Orlando, Florida. The Quality professional will be responsible for leadership and performance within the Supplier Quality Engineering discipline, including Supplier Quality Engineering business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, and talent development, training and knowledge continuity. The position may require working flexible hours and travel.
What You Will Be Doing
Oversight and direct responsibility for Supplier Quality Engineer(s) / Analyst(s) Supervising the Supplier Quality assignment and coordination of daily tasks inclusive of but not limited to (1) source inspection, (2) First Article Inspection (FAI), (3) Production Process Baseline, (4) surveillance, (5) Failure Review Board, (6) Material Review Board (MRB), (7)Corrective Action Board and (8) product line validations as outlined by applicable company and industry standards. Ensure Supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified. Establish, revise, review and implement departmental policy and procedures. Provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters. Drive strategies resulting in optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System and talent development. Develop, implement and support processes to optimize program execution while driving out risks. Utilize quality methodologies and MFC policies and procedures. Identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices. Support Supplier requests tied to program requirements, while interfacing with customers and program management.
