Join our Civil Construction Field Systems hardware team and engage with the full product lifecycle, from prototyping on your bench to seeing your work installed on massive heavy machinery. Ensure our cutting-edge GNSS and sensor platforms can endure the toughest construction sites worldwide. What Makes This Role Great: This is a crucial entry-level role where you directly impact product endurance for global construction. You will be instrumental in the full design lifecycle, from creating custom test fixtures to performing deep root cause analysis on field returns, working collaboratively with experienced electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to build a strong foundation for your hardware engineering career. Key Exciting Responsibilities Drive hardware design validation testing to meet rigorous performance standards. Develop and construct custom test fixtures for internal labs and manufacturing lines. Conduct detailed root cause analysis on electrical and mechanical components returned from the field. Support the development of technical specifications for manufacturing tests and provide support to our contract manufacturers. Assemble prototype units and fabricate custom wiring harnesses with a hands-on approach. Create comprehensive test plans and reports to communicate findings across the engineering team. Essential Skills & Experience Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field (recent or upcoming graduates welcome) Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic circuit schematics and electrical system drawings Proven practical electrical aptitude, including a hands-on approach to bench testing, soldering, and wiring harness construction.
