As a Supplier Quality Engineer for Networking, you will join the team responsible for setting and managing the quality and reliability standards for our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Router and Optical Transport products. You will collaborate to drive supplier development and ongoing performance management to Google's technology and business needs. You will have involvement in the tools and techniques used to assess product quality and reliability. You will have partner management skills and the ability to sift through data and use it to drive design or process improvements. You will manage the OEM supplier quality and create the processes, tools and procedures behind Google’s powerful search technology. You will collaborate with Commodity Managers and Engineers to determine Google’s infrastructure needs and product specifications and to make sure you will maximize multi-sourcing for each product. Your work ensures the various pieces of Google’s infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
