Role & seniority: Sr. Manual QA
Stack/tools: API testing (REST/SOAP) with Postman/SoapUI; MS SQL for backend data validation; basic test automation concepts/tools; QA methodologies and SDLC (Waterfall & Agile); project tracking (e.g., ATLAS); Master Test Plans and Test Summary Reports
Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices; perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
Validate backend data with MS SQL queries; create test effort estimates and comprehensive test plans; maintain Master Test Plans and summaries
Identify, log, reproduce, and track defects; lead testing activities; mentor junior QAs; contribute to QA process improvements
5+ years in Quality Assurance/testing
Proficiency in writing/executing test cases and scripts
API testing experience (REST/SOAP) with Postman or SoapUI
MS SQL knowledge for data validation; understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC (Waterfall & Agile)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Familiarity with basic automation concepts/tools
ISTQB certification (not required)

Job Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and testing. Strong proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scripts. Solid experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman or SoapUI. Working knowledge of MS SQL for data validation and backend testing. Familiarity with basic test automation concepts and tools. Deep understanding of QA methodologies, Test Design Techniques, and SDLC (Waterfall & Agile). Experience in creating Master Test Plans and Test Effort Estimations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility in shifting schedules, extended working hours, and travel readiness. ISTQB certification is a plus but not required.
