Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 / year
Role & seniority: Senior/lead Quality Assurance Engineer—focus on test leadership, ownership of test outcomes, and governance across teams.
Stack/tools: Test management, execution, and reporting tools; manual and automated testing; SDLC/STLC governance; quality metrics and reporting; CoE participation.
Own end-to-end testing outcomes: planning, execution, defect management, reporting, quality signoff.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to testing/quality teams; define and promote testing standards.
Collaborate with developers, PO, Scrum Master, and architects to embed quality early; define test strategy, risk-based testing, and metrics for leadership.
Senior-level test leadership and QA ownership
Proficiency with test tool administration, execution, and reporting
Strong manual and automated testing expertise
Mentoring/coaching capabilities and governance knowledge (SDLC/STLC)
Knowledge of SAFe practices (PI planning, ART ceremonies) and cross-team coordination

Role Description
Lead and administer testing tools and platforms, ensuring availability, appropriate configuration, governance, and ongoing operational support. Take full ownership of test outcomes end-to-end, including planning, execution, defect management, reporting, and quality signoff. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to testing and quality engineering teams across the organization. Define, refine, and champion the adoption of effective testing practices, standards, and frameworks throughout the company. Guide teams in developing test strategy, planning, estimation, and risk-based testing approaches for complex initiatives. Work collaboratively with Developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Architects to embed quality considerations early in the development lifecycle. Track, analyze, and communicate quality metrics, risks, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in Center of Excellence (CoE) activities as needed.
Primary Skills (Mandatory)
Senior-level experience in test leadership and quality assurance ownership. Proficiency in test tool administration and support, including test management, execution, and reporting tools. Strong expertise in both manual and automated testing practices. Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and guide testing teams. In-depth understanding of SDLC, STLC, test strategy, and governance principles.
Secondary Skills (Preferred)
Knowledge of SAFe Agile practices, including PI planning, ART ceremonies, and cross-team coordination. Experience with additional Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Willingness and ability to learn and adopt SAFe Agile practices if not already experienced.
