Mindera is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in mobile testingto join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our mobile applications and delivering exceptional mobile experiences across various platforms.
Your primary focus will be on developing and executing test strategies, both manual and automated, to identify and resolve defects while working closely with development and product teams. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for mobile technology and a commitment to quality, we would love to have you on board.
Expected travelling time (UK and USA): 0%-15%, varies according to project/client. You will be working with teams across different time zones and locations.
Requirements
Create, maintain, and execute automated mobile UI tests using Appium. Work with Android and iOS apps using Android Studio and Xcode. Investigate and report bugs by analyzing logs, crashes, and app behavior. Intercept and validate network traffic using Charles Proxy. Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues. Participate in quality decisions and suggest process improvements. Contribute to the automation strategy and CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Strong experience with both manual and automated testing techniques Experience with Appium or Maestro for mobile test automation. Experience with Android Studio and Xcode. Knowledge of Charles Proxy for network traffic analysis. Proficiency in JavaScript for auxiliary scripts and test integration. Experience testing both Android and iOS applications. Ability to work in agile teams and communicate issues clearly Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software Ability to critically evaluate and challenge existing testing scripts and frameworks to identify areas of improvement and innovation
