About the Job

• We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile software products. This Individual Contributor role will focus on building robust automation frameworks, executing mobile and API tests, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Appium-based mobile automation, Java programming, API testing, and modern test automation frameworks, with a passion for delivering reliable and scalable testing solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS and Android) using Appium.
• Develop automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and TestNG following best practices such as Page Object Model (POM).
• Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure high-quality releases.
• Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
• Conduct cross-platform testing across devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
• Develop and execute API automation scripts using Postman and Newman.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless automation integration.
• Analyze mobile application performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices and incorporate them into testing processes.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in mobile test automation using Appium.
• Strong proficiency in Java for automation scripting.
• Experience with Selenium, TestNG, and test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms and mobile testing methodologies.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Newman.
• Familiarity with JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle.
• Knowledge of cross-device and cross-platform testing strategies.

Good to have: Experience in performance testing tools and methodologies.
