Automation Tester (C#, UFT) – Cards & Payments Location - JHB Work from office daily Contract position (renewable)

We’re looking for a talented Automation Tester to join a forward-thinking financial services technology team delivering robust, scalable payment solutions.

Your Role

• You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical Cards & Payments platforms. Working alongside developers, business analysts, and product teams, you’ll design and implement best-in-class automated test frameworks that support fast, high-quality delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using C# and UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
• Create and execute automated test scripts for Cards & Payments systems
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, and test case design
• Perform API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Collaborate closely with development teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Identify defects early and drive resolution with clear reporting
• Continuously improve automation coverage, efficiency, and standards

Essential Skills & Experience Needed

• Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing
• Advanced proficiency in C#
• Solid experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
• Proven experience working within Cards & Payments domains
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
• Experience with API testing and integration testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Highly Desirable

• Knowledge of payment processing flows, authorization, clearing & settlement
• Exposure to performance testing tools
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
