Realize and validate the design and realization of assembly equipment per customer/project specs (costs, timing, quality) and ensure ergonomic/ergonomics and HSE conformity

Manage handover to plant: tune equipment, train plant teams, ensure performance convergence, and support post-handover issues

Contribute to project knowledge, lessons learned, and standardization: participate in metier networks, define technical standards, and consolidate best practices

Full Description
Main Missions Follows up design and realization of assembly equipment (serial or prototyping) according to customer requirements, project specifications (costs, timing, quality), assembly standards/best practices and HSE/ergonomics requirements Ensures proper equipment handover to the plant (performance convergence, training for plant team) Participates in technical knowledge improvement of assembly technologies domain and in lessons learnt for projects under his/her responsibility Follows the Support Optimap/Optipro project development including AVP phases Support operations in case of technical major/new issue Ensures consistent knowledge sharing and transfer by participating in assembly networks, OPTIPRO or Optimap work packages HSE (100% conformity) - Project quality/cost/delivery - Standards conformity Responsibilities Classic Assembly Follows HSE and ergonomics standards and rules Participates in the conception of the assembly process and equipment with EPM, MPM and associated extended team Supports MPM/IPM for technical choices in order to improve the process Establishes technical and economic analysis of suppliers’ offers, together with purchasing department, in order to select the best solution Follow-up of Design and Realization of Assembly Equipment Realizes functional specifications regarding project elements and standard elements Validates equipment study (including supervision of FMEA), ergonomics study and the choice of possible solutions Updates/adapts former feasibility study and technical choices if needed (Perimeter changes) Validates equipment in supplier workshop, fine tune the equipment in the plant and ensure smooth transfer to plant team Ensures the tuning of the equipment is properly done following instructions given by EPM/MPM, in order to converge to the product conformity Validates necessary documentation for each equipment Analyses results of actions plan, of validation plan and risk plans Participates in capability validation for each equipment Participates in lessons learnt activities, productivity projects… led in the assembly department During those activities, the job holder has to apply or has to make applied integrated management system (Quality, Environment, and Safety). He/she is responsible of the destruction of its parts in the local rules respect. Assembly Automation HSE / Quality
Applies and promotes application of HSE and quality policies and procedures including
- PLC & robot & HMI program risk analysis
- Follow up and promote HSE validation
- Assistance to Operations
Supports operations in case of major or new issue on assembly processes/equipment, including
- Automation audit on equipment/cell
- Supplier robotic/plc/hmi program modification
- Robot/automation program adjustment during tuning phase/retrofit/re-use
- Participates in operations productivity workshops
- Customer / Industrial Projects
- Validates technical feasibility of robotics aspects and participate to design for manufacturing if required
- Supports the definition of equipment specifications & supplier sourcing
- Supports the validation and commissioning of robotized applications following development of robotic equipment standard (functional analysis, validation plan, project report and so on)
- Ensures methodological and technical standards are applied in all the projects
- Consolidates lessons learnt from the projects into metier best practices and standards

- Desired Profile
- Engineering Technician with experience or Engineering Master degree in Automatism and Robotics
- 2/3 years of experience in assembly field in plant or equipment supplier or other automotive tier 1 supplier as assembly equipment project manager
- Possible for young engineer graduate with former experience in assembly as trainee or intern
- Advanced experience in robotics and automatism
- Good understanding of HSE/ergonomics
- Knowledge in Robotics
