Introduction & Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our Corporate Access Payables project team, responsible for delivering a file-based payment system for business and corporate customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong automation test strategy skills along with a solid foundation in various testing methodologies. With over 5 years of hands-on test automation experience, you will drive QA activities, document test results, and support production issue resolution.
Main Responsibilities
Assistance in creating automation test strategy plans for all releases. Self-development of automated tests and management of the test repository. Test results documentation and assistance with defect management. Automated test case execution with progress reporting. Testing support to resolve production issues. Expansion and development of existing testing framework. Utilization of best practices in test tools and frameworks. Designing scenarios for system, integration, and acceptance tests. Supporting manual testers in creating automated tests.
Key Requirements
General testing knowledge (e.g., ISTQB Foundation level). Able to drive and support QA activities across the delivery team. Willingness to improve competences in test automation. Good communication skills to foster automation focus. 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience (GUI, service-based). Coding skills in Java, Robotframework, Python. Experience with test automation solutions (Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Cucumber, Postman). Fluent in using GIT. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Bamboo/Docker). Basic SQL query preparation experience. Skills in data manipulation using XML, CSV, JSON.
Nice to Have
Skills in basic performance tests (jMeter).
Other Details
This position is physically located in Gdańsk, Poland. Candidates must be fluent in English. The team is working remotely with key members from Poland, Sweden, India, Finland, and Denmark, employing agile methodologies (SAFe) and utilizing Jira for project management.
