About the Role : Conduct in-depth analysis of requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive Test Plans and Strategies. Execute planned test cases, accurately log defects, and provide detailed, mandatory diagnostic information to engineering teams, ensuring efficient resolution. Provide technical feedback by reviewing Functional Specifications, and test strategies to influence product development and ensure alignment with quality standards. build, and maintain highly effective and scalable test automation scripts to support continuous integration and delivery. Maintain deep knowledge of the Test Process (STLC), deliver transparent status reporting, and proactively escalate project risks and dependencies. Work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams within the Business Unit to achieve project goals and uphold quality standards. Act as a technical mentor and coach to Junior Software QA Engineers, raising the overall technical bar for quality across the organization. About You : At least 8+ years of experience in network security products testing. A proven track record of shipping high quality, scalable software. Should have debugging experience, and excellent problem-solving skills. Strong background in network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, SMB and other application layer protocols), Strong understanding on data plane forwarding, and troubleshooting using packet capture tools Wireshark,tcpdump, CLI tools, and log analysis Skilled with traffic generators such as Ixia BreakingPoint, as well as virtualization platforms like ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V Experience in automation using Python, selenium.
