Summary We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Selenium and Playwright, along with a solid understanding of software testing principles and CI/CD practices. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery Job Description Key Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright ● Build scalable and maintainable automation frameworks ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies ● Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests ● Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines ● Identify, log, and track defects using test management and bug-tracking tools ● Continuously improve automation coverage and test efficiency ● At Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes. Required Skills & Qualifications ● 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation ● Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver ● Hands-on experience with Playwright for modern web automation ● Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python) ● Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar ● Good understanding of API testing (REST/JSON) ● Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) ● Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies About Guidewire Guidewire is the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.
