Summary Guidewire is seeking a highly technical AI Workflow Automation Engineer to join our Professional Services organization in Bangalore. Unlike a traditional client-facing consulting role, this position is dedicated to empowering our own global community of Professional Services developers and consultants. Your mission is to build the "internal engine" of our delivery organization. You will architect and implement AI-driven agents, automated coding assistants, and workflow orchestration tools that eliminate manual toil for our developers. By leveraging LLMs and agentic frameworks, you will transform how Guidewire software is configured, integrated, and deployed, making our professional services teams faster, more accurate, and more efficient. Job Description Developer Workflow Automation: Identify bottlenecks in the Guidewire implementation lifecycle and design AI-powered agents to automate repetitive developer tasks (e.g., code generation, unit test creation, configuration mapping). Internal Tooling & Orchestration: Build and maintain custom internal tools and LLM-based applications using frameworks like LangGraph, or LangChain to assist consultants in their daily delivery work AI-Enhanced DevEx: Collaborate directly with Professional Services developers to understand their pain points and iterate on AI solutions that improve their "Developer Experience" (DevEx) Prompt Engineering & RAG for Delivery: Develop and optimize RAG & GraphRag pipelines that tap into Guidewire’s internal documentation, best practices, and codebase to provide developers with instant, context-aware assistance. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Technical Proficiency: Expert-level Python/Java skills for building automation scripts and backend services. Deep experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph). Strong knowledge of LLM APIs and prompt engineering techniques. Experience with coding assistants (Claude Code) Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement. Engineering Excellence: Proven track record of building robust, maintainable software and internal tools. Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, automated testing, and Monitoring/Observability. Domain Context: (Preferred) Experience with enterprise software ecosystems and the challenges of complex configuration and integration. Preferred Qualifications Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with AWS (Bedrock/Sagemaker) for deploying internal AI services. DevOps/MLOps: Experience in building and scaling internal platforms or developer productivity tools. Guidewire Knowledge: Prior experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite or Guidewire Cloud is a significant plus but not required.
