Test Engineer On-site in Huntsville, AL

Target salary range: $70,000 - $90,000.00 Active Secret Clearance Required to Start We are seeking a Test Engineer to support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as a key contributor on the Ground Fire Control (GFC) Test Team, executing and integrating software tests within a classified, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

Execute test plans, procedures, and formal test events
Support software integration and system-level testing
Collaborate on requirements development and verification
Develop and maintain automated test scripts (Python)
Analyze large data logs and perform root cause analysis
Support configuration and version control processes
Contribute within an Agile development environment
Operate full-time in a secure, closed-area work environment

Qualifications

Federal Law requires U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in STEM
Active Secret clearance (ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret); U.S. Citizenship required
2–5 years of relevant experience (early-career level)

Testing Experience

Software testing and integration
Executing test plans and procedures
Working in integrated test environments

Programming / Technical Skills

Experience with object-oriented languages (C++, Python, Ada, Java)
Strong knowledge of Python automation scripting
