This role involves analysing requirements, creating comprehensive test scenarios, executing manual or supporting the automation team in the creation of automated tests, and documenting defects to ensure a high-quality product is delivered on time. Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Design: Develop detailed UAT test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on functional specifications and user stories in JIRA or supporting the Automation team to automate tests.
Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for software applications.
Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and re-test bugs, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with developers.
Documentation & Reporting: Produce clear, concise test reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate test coverage and quality status using JIRA.
Environment Management: Ensure test data and environments are fit for purpose.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, SME’s, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and project goals.
