Role & seniority: Mid-level to senior Systems Test Engineer (independently plans and executes moderately-defined testing; strong contributor in design reviews)
Stack/tools: Systems-level software/hardware testing; designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures; defect documentation using bug-tracking system; interprets wireless specifications
Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and procedures for general systems-level software/hardware
Identify, document, and report defects; troubleshoot and analyze functional issues
Develop testing programs to assess new systems or modifications; participate in design reviews and project meetings
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master preferred; or Bachelor with 5+ years of related experience)
Ability to interpret wireless specifications and translate them into test plans
Experience with bug-tracking and defect documentation; strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent
Additional related experience or advanced testing proficiency in systems-level environments
