Stack / tools: JavaScript/Java; UI Automation (Selenium/Appium); Mobile Automation (Appium or equivalent); CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions); SCM (GitHub/SVN); Test case management (Jira/TestRail); exposure to AI-driven QA scripting and automation approaches.
Scope, design, and execute automated and manual test cases for complex feature enhancements; contribute automated test code on existing frameworks.
Determine test coverage, sign off criteria, and validate acceptance criteria across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; analyze results to improve automation.
Document features/requirements from a testing perspective; own regression and release testing; communicate defects and collaborate with SDEs, PMs, and stakeholders.
3–5 years in QA with automation, regression, UI/API testing; strong test design and implementation skills.
Proficient in JavaScript/Java; experience with Selenium/Appium; mobile automation; CI/CD and version control; test case management.
Ability to triage failures, review automated results, and optimize test coverage; cross-time-zone collaboration.

· Scope and Complexity: You are able to create and execute test cases for more complex feature enhancements to validate user stories involving oneself or working with other engineers. You demonstrate ability to execute and build automated tests by contributing new code that builds on top of what other engineers have written. You are engaged with your team’s automated testing systems by analyzing test results and identifying areas for increased automated coverage. You execute and build automated tests using the existing tests built by more experienced test automation engineers.
· QA Fundamentals: You are responsible for making decisions about test coverage for new features and for determining when to sign off on a feature or release based on your team’s best-practices. You consider the team’s automation capabilities in your analysis. You understand the differences between unit, integration, and end-to-end or user journey tests.
· Execution: You have demonstrated the ability to utilize blackbox test methodology to execute test cases, document bugs. You engage with available tools (e.g. network monitoring tools, debug logs, performance dashboards, etc) for validating acceptance criteria and to provide more information to SDEs for debugging andtroubleshooting purposes. You contribute to automated testing efforts.
Operations: You provide documentation of new features and requirements from a testing perspective. You take ownership of regression testing and release testing coordination.
· Influence: You influence your team’s processes and testing methodologies through discussions with peers and your management.
