What your day-to-day will look like
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks and test suites using Python.
Implement automated testing strategies for APIs and ML/AI models, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Analyze complex software systems and identify opportunities for automation to improve testing efficiency.
Execute automated test scripts, report defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
Monitor and maintain test automation environments, ensuring stability and reliability.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for test automation and API testing.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance testing processes.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Contribute to the overall QA strategy, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
The skills and traits we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
Proficiency in Python for writing API automation.
Experience using Playwright and Python for performing UI testing.
Experience testing Web Service APIs with manual and automation tools (Postman, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a remote, team-oriented environment.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable but not required.
