Design/build scalable frontend and backend automation frameworks from scratch; define and execute unit, API, integration, E2E, performance, and non-functional test strategies

Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is passionate about building scalable automation frameworks and leveraging AI to modernize quality engineering.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who views quality as a platform capability, builds intelligent automation solutions, and continuously improves engineering productivity through AI-driven innovation.
Role expectations
Design and build scalable frontend and backend automation frameworks from scratch Develop and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines and modern test environments Define and execute unit, API, integration, E2E, performance, and non-functional test strategies Validate scalability, reliability, security, and distributed system behaviour. Perform deep debugging and root cause analysis Lead shift-left quality practices and improve testability across teams Build AI-powered utilities for test generation, synthetic data, regression optimization, flaky test detection, and defect triage Integrate LLM-based workflows into quality pipelines Collaborate with R&D, DevOps, Product, and Infra to drive company-wide automation excellence Champion AI-first thinking in solving repetitive engineering problems
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field 3–6 years of experience in automation architecture, functional & non-functional testing, and test strategy
Technical Skills
Strong coding skills in Python or JavaScript (C# is a plus) Proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch Experience with API/UI testing, distributed systems validation, and CI/CD tools Cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Strong debugging and analytical skills
