Allied Consultants, Inc is a proudly Austin based firm with over 34 years of experience delivering top-tier technical and business professionals within Texas State Agencies. We are currently seeking an experience Senior QA Analyst to play a key role within a high-impact technical services team.

Work Location

Location of job: 4-5 days onsite, only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

Duties will include

• Utilizing client templates to create testing-related documentation (e.g., Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Summary Memos, etc.).
• Executing the Test Plans and Test Cases through all phases of the testing process, if required. Responsible for using Xray, or other Test Management tools, to manage test case execution.
• Managing the Defect Management Process, to include defect identification, resolution, and tracking. Responsible for working with the vendor to ensure defects are resolved in a timely fashion.
• Serving as the testing point of contact for vendors on various projects to co-ordinate testing activities.
• Managing defects using Jira or other Defect Management tools.
• Providing support (coordination) for UAT efforts, utilizing client division staff (users) for test execution.
• Providing testing guidance for various projects.
• Facilitating Daily Defect Triage Meetings (i.e., monitoring UAT defects, entering/reviewing defects, replicating defects and communicating defects to vendors

Qualifications

Minimum (Required)

8 years of

• Manual testing Experience (e.g., System Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT, etc.

5 years of

• Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and other testing-related documentation
• Facilitating/coordinating User Acceptance Testing
• Using Jira, or other Defect Management tools (e.g., Octane)
• Xray, or other Test Management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail)

Preferred (Optional)

2 years of

• Writing automated test scripts
• Experience using Selenium or other automated testing tools
