Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Telecom Device Testing Engineer to validate and ensure the quality, performance, and compliance of telecom devices across various network technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in device testing, network protocols, and telecom standards, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Perform functional, regression, interoperability, and performance testing of telecom devices.
Validate device behavior across 2G / 3G / 4G / LTE / 5G network environments.
Execute testing on CPEs, routers, switches, modems, handsets, IoT devices, and other telecom equipment.
Conduct protocol testing for interfaces such as SIP, Diameter, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SNMP, and FTP.
Perform SIM, call flow, data session, SMS, VoLTE, and network handover testing.
Analyze logs and traces using tools like Wireshark, QXDM, Tems, or similar.
Identify, log, track, and validate defects using defect management tools.
Coordinate with development, network, and vendor teams to resolve issues.
Ensure devices comply with telecom standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect metrics.
Support certification and acceptance testing activities.
Strong knowledge of telecom fundamentals and network architecture.
Hands-on experience in telecom device testing.
