About This Role
We are seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to design, deliver, and govern AI‑driven and automation‑based frameworks that accelerate software delivery for Mobile Core Network Functions across multi‑cloud environments. The individual will define integration standards, ensure Responsible AI compliance, enhance platform reliability, and support global markets by enabling faster, scalable, and secure deployment cycles.
What You’ll Do
Define and maintain AI and automation reference architectures, integration standards, and technology choices across AWS, GCP, and Vodafone Private Cloud environments Build and operate CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD / Flux CD, and Kubernetes‑based platforms Govern Responsible AI practices, ensuring data privacy, model transparency, and secure deployment of GenAI solutions, including PEFT and RAG‑based approaches Lead observability initiatives by defining KPIs, implementing dashboards, and enabling proactive monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud‑native tools Collaborate with product and domain teams to prioritise automation and AI use cases, guide vendor integrations, and mentor engineers while fostering continuous improvement
Who You Are
Skilled in CI/CD, GitOps, Kubernetes, and multi‑cloud delivery using infrastructure‑as‑code tools including Ansible, Terraform, and Helm Experienced in AI/ML engineering with strong proficiency in Python, transformers/LLMs, MLOps, vector databases, and production model deployment Knowledgeable in telecom domains and networking concepts, with practical exposure to mobile core technologies and security best practices Strong communicator with proven leadership capability, experienced in Agile/DevSecOps ways of working, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement Adept in designing highly observable, scalable, and resilient platforms using modern monitoring and analytics tooling
