Role & seniority: QA Engineer (mid/senior level) on NiCE Actimize Cloud Team
Stack/tools: Linux; AWS; cloud-based services; web applications; APIs; databases (SQL); QA methodologies; manual testing; potential automation tooling
Design, execute, and maintain manual test scenarios for cloud services, apps, and APIs; translate requirements into test cases
Validate system behavior across Linux/other OSes; perform database data validation and SQL-based checks
Participate in Exploratory, Sanity, Regression, and End-to-End testing; monitor environments; support production issue investigations; drive test coverage improvements and gradually automate manual flows
Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent; 4+ years in software testing/QA
Cloud-focused experience; Linux proficiency; SQL querying and data validation
Strong AWS experience; QA methodologies, testing of web apps and APIs; ability to manage multiple tasks; strong analytical attention to detail
Experience with test automation frameworks; scripting/programming skills
Prior work in DevOps/cloud-native environments; familiarity with CI/CD and cloud monitoring tools

As part of our mission to deliver high-quality, cloud-native solutions, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Cloud Team. You’ll work closely with DevOps engineers and system architects, ensuring our cloud platforms and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. How will you make an impact? Collaborate with DevOps engineers and architects as a core member of the Cloud Team. Deeply understand product and system requirements, translating them into clear, comprehensive manual test cases. Design, execute, and maintain manual test scenarios for cloud-based services, web applications, and APIs. Validate system behavior across Linux and other operating systems. Perform database testing, including data validation and SQL-based verification. Actively participate in Exploratory, Sanity, Regression, and End-to-End testing. Identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle and communicate them effectively to the team. Monitor test and non-production environments and support investigation of production issues when needed. Continuously analyze test coverage and improve manual testing processes. Demonstrate strong motivation to grow automation capabilities by gradually converting manual test flows into automated ones.
