Role & seniority: AI Automation Engineer (mid‑senior level); not a research role; embedded within Aspire Software with hybrid work model.
Stack/tools: AI/ML tooling, large language models, agent frameworks; internal AI agents for operations and external AI products (vertical voice agents, copilots, workflow automation, AI documentation); cross-functional collaboration with product/engineering/go-to-market.
Design, build, and ship AI agents for internal portfolio-company ops (customer support, SDR/outreach, onboarding, content workflows) and for external AI products.
Own products from prototype to launch, including beta testing with real users and reaching first paying customers; measure impact (labor hours saved, productivity gains).
Collaborate across product, engineering, and GTM; move ideas quickly from concept to MVP to production; iterate based on feedback.
Proven track record of shipping live products/tools/projects ( startups, side projects, or internal tools).
Strong knowledge of AI/ML tools, large language models, and agent frameworks.
Ability to go from zero to functional prototype quickly; comfort with ambiguity; bias toward action.

AI Automation Engineer Aspire Software is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to join our growing team in Toronto! About The Role Aspire Software is looking for an AI Automation Engineer, someone who can design, build, and ship AI agents that either transform how our portfolio companies operate or become standalone products our customers pay for. This is not a research role. You will be embedded directly inside Aspire Software, working alongside portfolio company teams, understanding their operations, and building AI agents that handle real work: customer service, sales outreach, onboarding, documentation, and more. Some of what you build will replace manual workflows within Aspire’s portfolio companies. Some of it will become new revenue-generating products sold to their customer bases. Either way, it ships to real users.
