General Description The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for owning quality across a modern, cloud-based environment covering SaaS user journeys, APIs, integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities. This role requires an automation-first mindset and strong release ownership. The ideal candidate combines hands-on automation expertise with strong quality governance, acting as a key driver of release confidence across engineering, product, and DevOps teams.

You will ensure high-confidence releases through robust test strategies, scalable automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and data-driven quality signals.

Nature of the Tasks

• Define and execute comprehensive test strategies across UI, API, integration, and end-to-end flows

• Own sprint and release QA planning including scope review, risk assessment, entry/exit criteria, and sign-offs

• Engage early in the SDLC (requirements → testability → acceptance criteria) to prevent defects and reduce rework

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression suites (UI + API)

• Drive an automation-first culture with measurable improvements in coverage, stability, and release cycle time

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates

• Validate AI-enabled features using structured and repeatable methods (prompt regression, determinism checks, output validation)

• Validate deployments and ensure environment parity across Dev, QA, and UAT

• Support release readiness and rollback validation processes

• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, and preventative quality improvements

• Communicate quality status, risks, and metrics to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in QA, SDET, or Quality Engineering roles

• Strong hands-on automation experience using Python and/or Java

• Solid experience in UI automation (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent)

• Experience with API testing and automation frameworks (e.g., Postman + automated suites)

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, test design principles, and risk-based testing

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working with Git-based workflows
