Stack/tools: Test and Evaluation (T&E) documentation (T&E Strategy, Master Plan, Event Test Plans, T&E Reports); automated testing tools and VDI; Microsoft Word, Excel, Office applications; customer communications and coordination

  • Execute test plans/procedures, analyze results (including automated tests), and report status

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to analyze system requirements and concepts of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop an evaluation and test plan and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.

Responsibilities

Provide visibility into progress and impediments Supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation, e.g., Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration Provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas Execute test plans and procedures, confirm results of automated tests Training new hires on automated testing and VDI setup Design and implement automated testing tools when possible; update tools as needed to ensure currency and accuracy. Manage Customer Communications, i.e., Customer Boards and visits to the customer site Be able to work and produce results on an independent basis Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelors degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience OR Masters degree with less than 2+ years of prior relevant experience Active TS/SCI Clearance

Master's Degree with less than 2+ years of prior relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others. Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues. Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired. Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
