Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware Test Engineer with strong experience in Python-based test automation and firmware testing on Linux/RTOS platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in validating embedded firmware, developing automated test frameworks, and ensuring high-quality firmware releases.
Key Responsibilities
Perform embedded firmware testing across Linux and RTOS-based systems
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and PyTest
Execute manual and automated firmware test cases to validate functionality, performance, and stability
Analyze firmware behavior, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution
Develop reusable and scalable Python automation scripts following OOP principles
Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities
Ensure test coverage across system, integration, and regression testing
Document test results, defects, and test procedures clearly
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong programming skills in Python with solid knowledge of OOP concepts
Hands-on experience in Embedded Firmware Testing
Practical experience testing firmware on Linux and/or RTOS environments
Expertise in PyTest framework for test automation
Experience in test automation development using Python
Understanding of firmware testing methodologies and test life cycle
Ability to debug issues and analyze logs in embedded environments
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with embedded hardware platforms and peripherals
Knowledge of version control tools (Git)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test automation
