The Work
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Test Engineer to support our portfolio of military missile launching systems, including the Advanced Launchers and the Mk 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS).
Our I&T engineers work on early prototype systems, low-rate production systems, and systems actively deployed with military units worldwide. The candidate will develop overall test strategies and helping to direct the team toward success in various programs. Candidates with experience in DoD Combat, Weapon's or Missile Launching Systems testing with problem solving skills are preferred. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with Systems engineers and other engineering disciplines.
Execute test events, developing scenarios and creating test cases, running development and formal qualification tests on prototype and production hardware computer programs Author test plans, procedures, and test report Perform RVTM Perform data analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive system and/or subsystem level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance Author problem reports describing issues identified by testing Work with other engineers to resolve errors in requirements, designs, or test failures
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
This position is hybrid based out of Moorestown, NJ.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited University. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an engineering field and prior experience in Systems Integration & Test Demonstrated understanding of Systems Engineering process, lifecycle, and test approaches including test planning, execution, reporting, and requirement decomposition into test case scenarios and scripts Must be able to support occasional travel Ability to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level
Desired Skills
Master's degree in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited University. Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
The base range for this position in New Jersey is $110,500 - $198,422.
