Role & seniority: Test Lead (permanent, senior/lead level) within HBF’s Quality Assurance Engineering Chapter.
Stack/tools: Jira, Confluence, Zephyr (or similar); CI/CD environments; Agile delivery; testing across functional, integration, and end-to-end levels.
Develop test strategies, plans, and reports that drive real outcomes; lead and mentor a team of Test Analysts.
Coordinate release windows, smoke testing, and regression suites across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Delivery Leads, and stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with requirements and risk appetite; contribute to testing frameworks and continuous improvement.
Experience in functional, integration, E2E testing; release management and defect management.
Comfortable across CI/CD pipelines and Agile environments.
Influencing without authority; coaching/mentoring; ability to balance detail with big-picture thinking.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Zephyr (or similar).
Prior experience shaping testing frameworks and best practices; participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and leadership experience.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how we test, release, and improve our digital platforms and staff assets, leading test initiatives, providing guidance to your team and ensuring delivery excellence across multiple systems. What you’ll do

About you You’re someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex problems with smart, digital-first solutions. You have experience in functional, integration, E2E testing, release management, and defect management, and you’re comfortable working across CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery environments.
You’re confident influencing without authority, guiding teams through testing cycles, and delivering outcomes that matter. Coaching, mentoring, and developing people comes naturally to you, and you know how to balance detail-oriented work with big-picture thinking.
If you have experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Zephyr (or similar), and a strong understanding of the software development and project management lifecycle, you’ll feel right at home in this role.
