Overview

Salary: $115,000 - $140,000
We are seeking a Testing Lead who will support our client. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end testing for an Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation, ensuring solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements. This role integrates real-world clinical workflow knowledge (e.g., A/D/T, CPOE, BCMA, clinical documentation) into testing methodologies to drive quality assurance and verification across the program.
Duties
- Coordinate with stakeholder departments to identify testing requirements and resolve testing issues.
- Oversee testing strategy and testing delivery; track and report progress against a Testing Management Plan.
- Coordinate with project leadership to assign testing resources; log testing-related issues and risks.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Testing Plan defining objectives, scope, success criteria, stakeholders, communications, resources, tools, and infrastructure.
- Create and manage requirements mapping/traceability to ensure complete coverage of functional, non-functional, security, and compliance requirements.
- Develop, review, and approve test plans for each testing level/type; create test cases, scenarios, scripts, and test data.
- Lead and/or perform incremental testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); validate results and document defects.
- Establish and manage defect processes (logging, severity/prioritization, tracking, and resolution coordination).
- Plan and coordinate test environment needs and test data preparation that mirrors production while supporting privacy/security requirements.
- Support testing across multiple phases (requirements through post-implementation monitoring and regression testing).
- Monitor the system post-testing with ongoing operations/support teams and coordinate regression testing after conversion when changes are introduced.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited collect with additional 3+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience leading testing efforts for Cerner/Oracle Health EHR solutions (ideally 8+ years).
- 8+ years of experience managing, overseeing, and coordinating end-to-end testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience leading testing efforts for EHR implementations on 2+ projects of similar size and scope.
