Full Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer to support our client in Boulder, CO. The Integration and Test Engineer will design, integrate, test, and enhance software services within a cross‑functional agile team supporting complex, mission‑critical systems. The engineer will contribute to CI/CD processes, automated and manual testing, platform validation, and the delivery of high‑quality software capabilities to federal mission stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Integration and Test Engineer include
Design, build, integrate, test, deploy, and improve software services and platforms within an agile engineering team Develop and execute QA/test strategies for CI/CD environments Test applications using automated and manual methods across back‑end and UI components Qualify new features across supported platforms and configurations Implement and troubleshoot automated tests within sprint cycles Verify installations with acceptance tests, track defects, and support development meetings Apply engineering standards, processes, and tools throughout the system development life cycle
Qualifications for the Integration and Test Engineer include
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field; 5+ years of experience (or Master’s + 3 years) Must have an active Secret clearance and ability to get a TS/SCI through sponsorship Experience developing I&T plans, test cases, and debugging complex systems Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, Cucumber, or JMeter Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab Runner) Strong Linux/Unix environment expertise Familiarity with cloud and container technologies (AWS, Azure, RHOSP, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
Compensation for the Integration and Test Engineer includes
Salary Range: $100,000-$115,000 depending on experience
