Full Description

(Senior QA Automation Engineer – TOSCA / qTest / Kafka &-Perl)

8 years of handson QA/testing experience with strong background in

 Test automation using TOSCA (advanced level) and Good experience in PERL.
 Test management & execution using qTest
 Testing Kafka streaming pipelines — validating topic data, message structure, event sequencing, offsets, and endtoend
message flows
 Unix/Linux/Solaris environments (running tests, verifying logs, analyzing system behavior)
 Oracle database (SQL queries for validation, data setup, debugging)

Strong understanding of the application technology stack, including

 Working knowledge of Shell / Perl scripting for test automation and log analysis
 Familiarity with C/Pro*C application
 Good understanding of backend batch flows, file movements, and intersystem integrations

Process & Methodology Skills

 Handson experience across the full SDLC and STLC, using Agile methodologies

 Experience designing

o Functional test cases
o Datadriven test sets
o Regression test suites
o Integration & systemlevel validation scenarios

DevOps & Tooling

 Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and integrating automated test suites into build pipelines
 Familiarity with JIRA, Service Point, Confluence, and other Agile collaboration tools
 Exposure to test execution on Linux/Solaris servers, reviewing logs, and validating job runs
