Senior Analyst Quality Assurance Role Purpose Coordinates and oversees team activities and applies advanced testing knowledge of business requirements and software development lifecycles to design, execute and maintain tests of complex software solutions. Role Responsibilities Manages and leads end-to-end test delivery, activities and implementation of quality control frameworks in-line with the organisation's quality policies, standards and processes to deliver high quality products Performs continuous improvements to improve the testing efficiency, application performance/capacity, and speed of delivery Implements new / improved software development processes and best practices, as required by group or departmental Heads Manages the performance and development of the team, promoting an inclusive and open culture, holding responsibility for motivation, retention and performance management, and leads by example Ensures all quality control tests and maintenance activities are carried out accurately and documented in full Oversees the maintenance of all customer technology solutions, ensuring all issues are resolved on time Develops understanding of LSEG's commercial direction and how quality and technology are a part of this Builds trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, growing own network and collaborating with other teams Communicates complex / technical information clearly and concisely in an audience-appropriate format. ISTQB Core Advanced/Test Management Certified or equivalent Exhibits Test Management and Line Management experience in manual, test automation or performance testing resources Exhibits Test Management experience in entire software development life cycle, software quality assurance and one programming language, preferably in multi-tiered applications SKILLS AND PROFICIENCY Quality assurance :- Guiding the team to ensure a product/service meets or exceeds specified standards and objectives to achieve desired level of quality. Test framework development / test scripting:- Guiding the team in developing, maintaining test framework and test scripts, demonstrates creativity and innovation using available software testing tools. In-depth/breadth tech expertise:- In depth technical expertise, knowledge of technologies and design, development and implementation of technologies related to QA. Problem solving:- Defines a problem, generates solutions, and evaluates and identifies the best solution to overcome the problem. Communication:- Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
