Role & seniority: QA Tester / Quality Engineer (Senior SME, lead accountability for team decisions and cross-team collaboration)
Stack/tools: Java (15+ years), Selenium, Cucumber; API testing, regression testing; automation scripting; Appium (recommended); continuous testing practices; code reviews; experience with SIT and defect management
Enable full-stack solutions through multi-disciplinary planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and quality
Perform continuous testing (security, API, regression), create automation strategy and scripts, and support data/environment configuration
Lead and collaborate with multiple teams, participate in code reviews, monitor/report defects, and drive end-to-end testing process improvements

Advanced test execution/management, system defect management, SIT, quality engineering strategy

We are currently looking for QA Tester for an Oil Company
Your day-to-day activities will include performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, creating automation strategy and automated scripts, and supporting data and environment configuration. You will also participate in code reviews, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Advanced proficiency in Test Execution and Management is required. System Defect Management, System Integration Testing (SIT), Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation, Automation Testing Tools, and Appium are recommended. Must have: Java +15, Selenium, Cucumber
Nice to have: Git Hub Actions, Appium, Azure DevOps, Datadogs, BrowserStack
Location: Lisbon, Braga, Coimbra, hybrid
