Role & seniority: Entry-level Data Governance / Data Quality Analyst (less than 1 year in data governance)

Assist design and execution of the Data Quality program and onboarding of tooling
Map and code complex enhanced rules calculations across multiple systems and business lines

Job Description Key Responsibilities Assist with the design and execution of Data Quality program, documentation of internal procedures and tooling on-boarding activities as part of the assigned workstream. Map and code complex enhanced rules calculations for multiple systems and Business Lines. Collaborate with relevant enterprise functions to stand up AI data governance capability. Application of computer engineering best practices to mature Data Quality centralized utility for advanced data governance. Participate in dedicated projects and/or activities to evolve EDG Capabilities and implement related processes Assist with analysis and documentation of various processes / documents as assigned by manager Identify and escalate risks as appropriate to the workstream manager Collaborate with other EDG team members on connected topics and activities Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Less than one year of experience in data governance activities Technical aptitude with experience in SQL based query writing Preferred Skills/Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Effective presentation and relationship building skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Basic understanding of Data Governance principles Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Excel Technical aptitude with experience in Python. Computer engineering AI data governance Intermediate understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems and associated risks/controls Intermediate understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends Knowledge of SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps and/or Leap Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
