As an Entry-Level QA Engineer at Nutanix, you’ll work directly with Software Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers, the teams responsible for keeping our systems stable and performant in real-world environments. Together, you’ll test new features, uncover edge cases, and ensure what we ship performs as designed.
You won’t be observing from the sidelines. You’ll be learning by doing, contributing to hybrid multicloud systems used by organizations around the world.

What You’ll Do
Learn Nutanix architecture, QA tools, and development workflows through hands-on mentorship. Test new features across functional, regression, performance, and usability dimensions. Identify and document defects clearly so they can be resolved efficiently. Collaborate with Software Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers to diagnose issues and validate fixes. Contribute to test scripts and foundational automation efforts. Help improve how we test, not just what we test.
What You’ll Bring
You’re finishing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A foundational understanding of software testing and the Software Development Life Cycle. Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, Java, or similar is a plus. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication skills in English at a B2 level or equivalent. Legal authorization to work in Canada. A strong interest in learning quickly and contributing to high-quality software.
