Role & seniority: Quality Engineer (contract, 3 months with possible extension)
Stack/tools: SPC (control charts), MSA, Pareto, ANOVA; quality tools (FMEA, Cause & Effect Diagram, 8D); software: PowerPoint, Excel, Minitab
Lead and coordinate customer quality complaint resolution with manufacturing plants for root cause investigation
Review CAPA and 8D from plants, customize customer-ready 8D reports, and implement QMS improvements
Collaborate with plants and Corporate EHS & Legal to address regulatory compliance issues (EICC, RoHS, REACH, EPA) and provide declarations/responses
Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred); 5 years in Quality, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering
Strong SPC knowledge and ability to validate control charts and recommend improvements
Proficient in problem solving, root cause investigation; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel; experience with Minitab
Experience communicating in multiple languages for customer-facing 8D reports
Familiarity with regulatory compliance processes and cross-functional collaboration (EHS, Legal)
Location & work type: Timonium, MD; 3-month contract (W2); shift 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; no PTO or benefits; ACA supplemental package available; must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Quality Engineer with a multinational science and technology company in Timonium, MD. This is a 3-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Schedule: Shift 8am to 5pm
